If you qualify, your certification is submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Health the same day. Pay the $50 state fee in your patient profile and your official Medical Marijuana Card arrives by mail within 7–10 business days.

No pressure. If you’re approved, your card allows legal access when you’re ready to visit a dispensary.
Yes. If your card has lapsed, you may still be able to renew. A licensed physician will need to complete your evaluation to ensure your documentation is up to date. If approved, you can then continue the renewal process through the Pennsylvania DOH portal.
Medical marijuana cards are valid for one year. An annual evaluation with a licensed physician and renewal through the Pennsylvania DOH are required to remain active. You can access the renewal system Here.
